As I looked at my wedding photo in front of the church, I was so happy with the dress I chose. It was on sale at JC Penney, stained and torn for $30. I just loved it, and it fit my tiny budget! I had it dry cleaned and tears fixed. I made my simple veil....and my bouquet. The bridesmaid dresses were simple long floral (hippie style) sundresses, that could be cut off later if they chose to do that. I loved my dress, high neck, lace, Grandmothers cameo at my neck..If I were to ... be marrying Jim today I would still wear the same style dress. To me Marriage is a Holy event, saying vows in God's presence is a beautiful thing. God gives us all a gift of Love, and when we find that special person to share love with, it enhances the gift and it grows. My dress represented how I felt, and still feel, about marriage. No low cut, backless, strapless for me. It's not about "sexy", it's about Love...a deeper love than just physical attraction....just my opinion, so all you strapless, backless, low cut ladies out there, if it made you happy, that's just fine too. sexy bridesmaid dresses
