Hi! I was wondering if you could post for me. I'm a first time mom to a five month old. She's exclusively breastfed and it's going very well but for the past month my nipples have been unbearably itchy and hot, especially during a let down. During a let down I also experience sort of a pressure pain in my nipples. My lo and I had thrush twice about two months ago, but when we recently saw her pediatrician she said my daughter didn't have thrush so I probably didn't either. I've tried hydrocortisone, gentian violet and someone recommended Vitamin e albeit I've recently been informed that can be toxic for babies. Any thoughts on what it could be?
